At First Fly, safety is a prime concern when we prepare the programs and activities. We ensure that all classrooms and play areas are safe and children friendly. The school and classrooms, the equipment and materials used for the program are learner friendly.

A colourful and bright classroom with lots of pictures and aids make the learning easy to the children. We ensure that the equipment and toys are child- safe i.e. they do not - break easily, cut or puncture, pinch, can be swallowed, cause eye and ear injuries, cause bumps and bruises, are toxic and unclean, can be psychologically harmful.

TO CHANGE THE ‘MENTAL MODEL’ OF SCHOOLING, AND IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING LEARNING CYCLE

The most important goal is to change the concept of education related to discipline, rote learning, cramming information, weekly, monthly or annual examinations, unhealthy competition and the percentage or marks scored by children at the end of each academic year.

For us at First Fly, education means making learning fun, hands on and meaningful, implementing curriculum keeping in mind children’s age and their ability to assimilate and perform skills, grading the concepts/skills from simple to complex tasks, etc.
